Andy Murray continues his run in Cincinnati on Thursday, live on Sky Sports, but isn’t expected on court until after midnight.
Just days since winning an Olympic gold medal at Rio 2016, successfully defending his London 2012 prize, Murray made a beeline for the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati .
The tournament is live on Sky Sports 3 from 4pm on Thursday but before Murray plays Kevin Anderson, we’ll see Grigor Dimitrov take on Stan Wawrinka and Borna Coric face Rafa Nadal in a couple of mouth-watering clashes.
Murray enters his match against South Africa’s Anderson on a career-best 19-match winning streak after winning at Queen’s, Wimbledon and then sealing a second successive Olympic gold medal. He will be aiming to secure a landmark 600th ATP Tour win.
The British No 1 owns a 5-2 head-to-head record against Anderson, but the huge-hitting South African won their most recent match-up in four sets at last year’s US Open.
Watch the Western & Southern Open live on Sky Sports 3 from 4pm on Thursday.
